At Humanize Clinic we use Chinese medicine to help women with fertility related problems such as PCOS, endometriosis, irregular cycles and amenorrhea. At the same time, men are often get neglected in the fertility process, but supporting a male partner’s health is often the secret to solving a couple’s fertility problems.

The World Health Organization defines male factor infertility as the presence of one or more abnormalities in the semen analysis, or the presence of inadequate sexual or ejaculatory function (Rowe 2004). In 50% of involuntarily childless couples, male infertility associated factor is found together with abnormal semen parameters (Dohle 2010). The reasons for this appear to be increased exposure to environmental pollutants and the amount of man-made oestrogens that are in general circulation.

Acupuncture Improves Sperm Quality

Researchers found five weeks of acupuncture treatment reduced the number of structural abnormalities in sperm and increased the overall number of normal sperm in a group of men with infertility problems.

They say the results suggest that acupuncture may complement traditional infertility treatments and help men reach their full reproductive potential.(1)

Humanize Clinics is now offering Couples Acupuncture.  Come to the clinic with your significant other and get separate treatments at the same time!  This is both healing and convenient. Both halves of a couple working to improve their health to have the healthiest baby possible along combined with effective treatments to enhance fertility for both men and women.
